Rada deputy who threatened Bandera members was deprived of the right to award weapon

Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada from the Opposition Platform – For Life faction Ilya Kivu was deprived of the right to award weapons. The corresponding order was signed by the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Denis Monastyrsky. Earlier, the parliamentarian published a video in which he fired into the air with automatic weapons and threatened the “Bandera”.

As Monastyrsky noted, Kiva was awarded the award weapon in 2015. Deprivation of this right is associated with “misconduct” and defamatory actions. According to the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, similar decrees will be signed in relation to other Rada deputies who violate the law.

“It is a great honor to have an award weapon and no one has the right to ruin this honor with unworthy behavior,” the minister said .

In turn, Kiva, in a conversation with the Strana.ua portal, recalled that he received an award weapon for organizing the evacuation of civilians who were surrounded in Debaltseve in 2015. The parliamentarian also added that the current head of the Ukrainian Interior Ministry seven years ago carried bags for Anton Gerashchenko, and now deprives him of state awards.

“But this did not offend me in any way, since only an equal can offend me,” he explained he.
