The official website of Taiwan's chief of staff's office was subjected to DDoS attacks from abroad amid a visit to the island by U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Taiwanese administration spokesman Zhang Dunhan said.

It is noted that the number of attacks, starting from 17:15 (12:15 Moscow time), has become 200 times more than on ordinary days.

According to Dunhan, the site has been restored.

Recall that the plane carrying Pelosi landed in Taiwan's capital Taipei.
