So the West can sleep peacefully,— said the Belarusian president.

On May 4, the Ministry of Defense of Belarus announced the start of a sudden check of the readiness of the reaction forces. During the inspection, military units and subunits will be put on alert, make marches and perform combat training tasks. At the same time, the Belarusian Ministry of Defense stated that “the ongoing activities <…> do not pose any threat either to the European community as a whole, or to neighboring countries in particular.

In the early morning of February 24, Russia launched a military special operation in Ukraine.
