How have the rules for entering Cyprus changed for foreign tourists?

Since January 4, the Cypriot authorities have tightened the rules of entry for foreign tourists, including those who are vaccinated. From now on, travel & nbsp; requires & nbsp; negative result & nbsp; PCR test for coronavirus, & nbsp; taken 48 hours before arrival in the country. This is stated on the CyprusFlightPass website.

How long will the new requirements last?

A negative PCR test will be required to enter the country at least until January 15, 2022. It will need to be handed over to all passengers over 12 years old. The new rule also applies to vaccinated travelers.

What other requirements are imposed on foreign tourists?

Before traveling to Cyprus, within 24 hours, travelers must fill out a special form on the CyprusFilghtPass website.

After arrival, all passengers , regardless of their vaccination status, must pass a PCR test for coronavirus at their own expense. After 72 hours of entering the country, travelers need to take a rapid antigen test. Children under 12 years of age are exempted from tests.
